Yamaha R25 has earned accolades for its style, performance and features from all across the world. Now, the latest news is that the Yamaha's new offering R25 takes just three minutes to assemble.
We know it is difficult to believe, for us too. But the news is from Eko Prabowo, GM Marketing Communications & Community Development PT, Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing (YIMM). He claims that the Yamaha R25 takes just three minutes to get it assembled after the components of the vehicles are in place, as reported by Tribunnews.
Yamaha R25, a bike which made its debut on 20 May in Indonesia, with a price tag of 53 Million Rupiah (roughly ₹2.70 lakh) is expected to make its debut in other markets including Japan by next year.
The bike is speculated to make its India debut next year with a single cylinder 250 cc motor, which would make it affordable for the Indian two-wheeler aficionados. The Hyosung GT250R Kawasaki Ninja 250 Mono and Honda CBR250R will be the main opponents of the upcoming bike in the Indian market.
The Indonesia-made bike has been getting great response from the two wheeler enthusiasts across the globe and the demand is on rise in the local Indonesian market too. Yamaha Indonesia, which opened the online bookings for the YZF-R25 on 22 May 2014, crossed 2,800 within 25 hours.
Yamaha R25, the latest fascination of young two wheeler lovers, gets power from 250 cc liquid-cooled, in-line, four-stroke, two-cylinder engine which can churn out a power of 36 bhp, 12,000 rpm and a peak torque of 22.1 Nm at 10,000 rpm.
Seated on a wheelbase of 1,380 mm, the bike weighs 166 kgs and has a fuel tank capacity of 14.3 liters. It comes with the features like fuel consumption indicator, oil change indicator, trip and odo-meter and engine temperature warning. It will be available in three colors - Racing Blue, Diablo Red and Predator Black.
It is built on Tubular Diamond chassis and comes with Telescopic suspension at the front and monocross suspension at the rear. It measures 2,090 mm in length, 720 mm in width, 1,135 mm in height and has a seat height of 780 mm.
